Makeup!

You finally discovered make up! You sit there and watch mummy out her make up on then you hold your hand out and ask me to put foundation on your hand so you can do your make up too. It's so cute. When I let you loose with the lipstick you look like a crazy kid with lipstick all over your face! Your so cute.

The Hop Farm

We organised to go to the Hop Farm. We went round the animal pens and touched all the animals. You found a pony who was your size. We then had a bounce on the bouncy castle whilst daddy got a drink for us.
We headed into the magic castle where there was a walking piano, where you run along the keys and it plays music. Then we done lots of fun magic pictures. Inside was a little tunnel that when your inside it feels like the rooms turning and you can't walk straight. I had to drag you through as you couldn't stand up haha. There was a soft play area where you all had a play whilst we had chips for lunch. Then we qued up so you could drive a car. They said its was for ages 4 up but I made them let you have a go aslong as I could walk round and help you do it. You loved it!

Brighton Sea Life Centre

Alex and Jo invited us to the aquarium so we decided to go to the sealife centre in Brighton.
It was a lovely day, I didn't take your pushchair so I wasn't left with it and not included in the pictures with you.
You had so much fun being able to walk all day. You was happy to see all the fish but you didn't wanna touch the starfish or the crab. I don't blame you, mummy didn't neither.
We also got to go on a bottom glass boat where we got to see the Sharks, stingrays and turtles swim beneath us. It was pretty cool to watch. You wasn't keen on the fact you can see the water but you got use to it.
When we was leaving it was pouring down with rain that we had to run back to the car! We had a long drive home and as we was hungry we stopped off for dinner at a pub before finally getting home and in bed.
I always enjoy taking you to zoos and aquariums. Mummy loves to go herself so sharing the experience with my princess makes it better.

Mummies Operation

Mummy had to go into hospital to have her old portacath removed and a new one put in. The old one was down to my ribs on my right side. It had been in over 14 years and when I was pregnant with you, you would kick towards it all the time and it kind of dislodged it and it stopped working.
Anyway, I had to go in for a few days and leave you at home. Daddy had booked the week off work to look after but he ended up going out the whole time and leaving you with nanny!
I should have stayed in for over a week but I couldn't be away from you for that long! Uncle rich took us up by car and dropped us off. We waited around for hours for my room to be ready. You loved playing on my bed or in the cupboard.

Daddy come that evening to pick you and nanny up and take you home. It was horrible saying goodbye and knowing I wouldn't see you for a few days.
We skyped most of the day just so you could see me. Fri was my operation and I was the 3rd in the list. You, daddy and nanny all came up in fri morning and got there before I went down for my op. I was down there for 5 hours. When I came back you was sound asleep!
I was super thirsty as I had had no fluids and I was very hungry!
Nanny went and got my dinner from the staff on the ward and I pigged right out!
Most people who have the operation tend to need a strong pain killer to help them as they're in so much agony. Your mummy however only lived on paracetamol for the pain. I was determined to be strong and get home to you.
I finally come home Sunday, the hospital told me I was not to lift anything up for a few weeks as I was so tender. The minute I got home I ran up the stairs to get a cuddle with you! I had missed you so much.
Daddy went back to work the next day so I never got any help with you and I was lifting you when I shouldn't have been. Nanny helped as much as she could but when daddy got home he still wouldn't help me.
You was brilliant with my scars and bandages. You kept asking me if I was ok and pointed to all of my baddies. Clever girl.

This is where they drew on me to mark where I needed my new port put in.

New Years Eve

So to see the new year in we was invited round Jaimie and Chris's house. Tasha and Jim were there too and all you kids. It was a mad house. You love playing with the kids though so you didn't mind.
We had a few nibbles there that Jaimie had cooked and we brought some coke for everyone.
We spent the whole night chatting away and having a giggle whilst you kids run around making lots of noise.
Baby Alfie was the 1st one to fall asleep before midnight, then Harley, then you. When it was time to countdown we all had party poppers so I knew you'd soon wake up, and bang bang bang went the poppers. You was not impressed! But didn't take you long to go back to sleep.
We had a lovely night though and I'm happy we shared it with great friends.
